Why do you always look outside yourself for validation, approval, and direction? It’s a habit that is not working, yet you keep doing. It’s not your fault, you just don’t know any other way.
In our society we learn to act based on outside circumstances versus internally taking control. Thus, we bounce around from one opinion to the next, never learning how to make decisions on our own. Depending on others this way can cause a lot of frustration, anxiety, self-doubt, and lack of confidence.
Yet, your greatest desire is to be your authentic self and stay true to her no matter what.
Does this sound like you?
It is good to go for goals that are beyond where you think you can go; however, it is important to recognize that they will happen when you grow, and your growth is an expansion of what already exists in you. So, you must be what you are and where you are to start!
Growth is a continual process that happens by steadily going from where you are now. So don’t try to be someone you’re not and somewhere you’re not. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else because they are on their path.
Who are you and what are you here for?
When you start to go deep and ask these questions of yourself you will begin the expansion and continual unfoldment of your truth with everything you do.
The most important thing about setting a goal and getting there is knowing where you are starting and tapping into the truth of who you are.
When you know who you are (your spiritual self) and align your thoughts, feelings, and actions to the essence of who you are, you will go into the world with a force that will attract everything you want.
You are essence of life, pure and perfect. You are continually becoming…
The layers of false truth, limiting beliefs and habits that no longer serve you need to go.
The old self-image needs to be changed to accommodate for where you are going.
As you continue your unfolding one day you will tap the source, and a fountain of energy will rise in you that you never felt before. It is so strong that you can’t turn it off. You’ll be able to tap into it in an instant, like turning on a light switch.
This unfolding cannot be forced; you must be patient and allow it to be released. It is the seed of your soul. It is in you now awaiting your recognition. Abstain from all straining and struggling to be something or someone you cannot be and just be yourself.
We’ve been taught to live based on outside circumstance. We are connected to the outside through our senses, sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch. We take things in and make decisions and judgements based on that. Whenever we get emotionally involved with something on the outside world… we are sunk, we have lost control.
Living from the inside-out is the way to ‘just do you’. Here are some essentials you will need to learn and master:
- Guard your mind from what you don’t want.
- Reject what you don’t want and what doesn’t serve you and your goals.
- Understand who you are and how you work in the world.
- Align yourself; your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to your highest ideals.
- Know what you want and where you are going.
- Make decisions on your own based on your inner knowing.
- Seek wise counsel of someone who understands human conditioning (paradigms).
- When you ask someone else’s opinion, you get their beliefs, and programs (paradigms).
- You want to understand that you have paradigms and so do others.
- Begin to change your paradigms to work for you versus against you.
Comparing yourself to others can lead you down a very slippery slope. You may need a break from social media if this is an issue for you, however you will need to learn to empower yourself. If you suffer from envy, jealousy and believe false truths about yourself you will want to study how to change this pattern. You are not on their path. You are on your path. Put your blinders on and just do you!
Comparison can trigger negative thoughts and self-doubt such as: What’s wrong with me?
Who do I think I am? They must have something I don’t. I am not good enough. I’ll never do it.
These thoughts can come up in an instant just by scrolling through your social media innocently. You are neurologically wired to think a certain way and likely a lot of that wiring needs to be changed and you are the only one that can do it. You must get help to change these habitual patterns through accountability, support, and an elite level mindset coach.
You have never been off your path; you may have been just walking in it backwards. Once you get the right direction and follow your path everything will begin to open for you.
There are many gifts from being unapologetically yourself. You will feel more joy in your heart. You will tap into more happiness, love, compassion, fulfillment, and passion for life. New roads will open-up for you. You will experience more enjoyment, beauty, and happiness. You will spread more joy and shine your light in the world every day.
